Born, June 20th, 1974 in Dallas, Texas, Philip attained a top 10% ranking in Texas Super Championship
Division in Juniors. He was the district and regional champion, and state runner-up in Texas High
School 5-A doubles.
Philip played singles and doubles for the University of Oklahoma Men's Tennis Team all 4 years
and was ranked in the top 15 of singles in Region IV of NCAA's in 1994. He also received his
Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communication with a minor in Sociology while at Oklahoma.

Philip played on the men's professional satellite circuit for two years. He was the assistant coach
for the Episcopal High School tennis team for one year and a tennis professional at the Houston
Metropolitan Racquet Club for 3 and a half years. Philip was also one of the Touring Coachs out of Lakes Tennis
Academy in Frisco, after which he began coaching on the professional tour.

Philip coached "America's Team", the Bryan Brothers, from 2003 to 2005. In 2003 the Bryans won
their first Grand Slam at the French Open, won the Houston Masters Cup, and finished the year as the #1 Team
in the World for the first time. In 2004, the Bryans were quarter-finalists at the Olympics, finalists with the
US Davis Cup Team, won a career high 7 doubles titles, won a 2nd consecutive Houston Masters Cup and finished
the year as the #2 Doubles Team in the world.
Philip was the Head Tennis Professional at the Lakes Tennis Academy and developed and ran his own "Philip Farmer Tennis Programs"
out of Starwood and Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas
Philip now is the Vice President of Client Services for ProLink Sports and Entertainment. He helps promote a number of
tennis, music, and high-profile celebrity fund raisers and events across the country.
Philip is currently the Head Professional and Director of Tennis & Athletics at the Stonebridge Ranch Country Club in McKinney, Texas.
